Back

I'm back in action, with a new conviction that writing for an audience of one is more valuable than heretofore non-existent audience member #2 might surmise.

My First Post

This is my first contribution to the blogosphere. It comes as a result of a new interest in blogging by the mainstream media and by average folks. Bloggers are starting the buzz these days. Two instances recently are 1) the story criticizing the weighting (or lack thereof) methodology of public polls and 2) Promptergate - the story that Bush might have received instructions through a wireless transmitter during the first debate.

Blogging is a way for people with ideas to gain influence without earning it the hard way. That's why I'm doing this. With the mainstream media now attributing ideas to the blogging world, the best days of the blogging world are ahead of us. While no one may read this first entry for a very long time, I hope that someday someone comes back to it and wants to know how all this started.
